As we near the final days of school, I want to encourage and remind each and every one of you to be attentive and focused on keeping up your grades! You want to avoid failing classes as you want to meet all graduation and diploma requirements. Don’t fall behind! Maximize your potential and strive to excel in and out of the classroom.
On another note, effective the 2012-2013 school year, WHS will have school wide academic expectations for ALL students to maintain a 2.0 or greater gpa, week to week grade checks and no more than 1 F Let me repeat.
EVERY STUDENT will be required to meet or exceed a 2.0 GPA, have no more than 1 F week to week, maintain satisfactory attendance and be students of character. Failure to do so will result in loss of privileges to participate in school activities, sports and school wide co-curricular events and require students to attend mandatory after school content tutorials. This is for your benefit! We want to see each of you succeed and FAILURE WILL NOT BE AN OPTION! Your college and career goals must be a priority and it all starts with your academics and Education.
We at WHS are here to support each and every one of you. You are important and we BELIEVE in each and every one of you! Put in the effort and strive for excellence in everything you do! Your work ethic in and out of the classroom reflects you!
Have a great day Mrs. Castillo
